Meet LeZandra
Not just another boudoir photographer. The one other photographers learn from.
I’m one of the boudoir industry’s leading experts in couples boudoir. I’ve taken the stage at WPPI, the world’s largest photography conference, to teach Couples Boudoir with Intention at The Boudoir Summit, and this fall I’m teaching couples boudoir to fellow photographers at the AIBP retreat. When photographers across the country want to learn how to hold space for intimacy, they come to this studio in Norfolk.
Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I studied psychology on my way to becoming a sex therapist. I chose a different path, but that foundation lives in every session: how I read a room, how I talk about desire and boundaries, how I help you exhale. You aren’t hiring someone who just knows light. You’re trusting someone who understands people.

The room holds you, me, and your hair and makeup artist. That’s it. We talk through your boundaries before a single frame, and no one under 18 ever enters the studio. Ever. Many of my clients are therapists themselves, or come to me on their therapist’s recommendation.

There is no perfect body. You are never too big, too small, too old, or too young (18+, always). Boudoir is for every body. Let me show you.

You don’t have to. That’s what I’m here for. I pose you from head to pointed toe and coach every expression. Your only job is to say yes.

A phone consultation, with zero obligation. I want to hear what brought you here, what you’re craving, and what you’re scared of. We’ll find the experience that fits.

The Claiming
Reserve your date with your booking fee, paid in full when you book, then choose your artwork collection within 10 days so I know exactly what we’re creating your images for.

The Fitting
Tour the studio and spend an hour in the closet: 1,200+ pieces, sizes XS to 4X. Most clients bring nothing at all. My rule: when in doubt, bring it.
IV
The Day
Five to six hours that are entirely yours. Professional hair and makeup, private use of the studio, and full posing and expression coaching. You will be sore tomorrow. Worth it.
V
The Unveiling
Two to three weeks later, you come back and meet yourself: 50 to 100 finished images, revealed in person. Your digital files go home with you that day.
Studio sessions begin between 10AM and 12PM on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

Your body, as it is
“Can you make me look thinner?”
I hear it all the time. And my answer is always the same: I want you to see how beautiful you are right now.
We flatter you with hair and makeup, wardrobe that honors your shape, and lighting and posing that highlight every asset (yes, that one). What I won’t do is reshape you into someone you’re not. The world already sells us enough impossible bodies.
Retouching is your choice, made after you’ve seen your images. Blemishes, bruises, and dark circles under your eyes are always softened. Cellulite, scars, stretch marks, small tattoos: keep them or let them go. Most clients are so stunned by their images straight out of camera that they choose less than they expected.
A note on tanning: we don’t remove tan lines or correct color from tanning beds or spray tans, so proceed with caution.

You’ll walk in to sandalwood, a purple neon sign that says exactly what we think of their opinions, and a team waiting to take care of you. Brick walls, marble floors, rivers of natural light, and rooms for every version of you: the study, the boho room, the kink room, the wet room, the rain room, and the closet.
Tucked on Granby Street in the heart of Norfolk, the studio welcomes clients from Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg. Others travel in from across Virginia, and some fly in from as far as Abu Dhabi and Hawaii just for their session.

Payment plan before your session. Interest free and in house, usually spread over 3 to 9 months. It also unlocks exclusive collection bonuses. Your collection is chosen within 10 days of booking and paid in full 14 days before your session.

When should I book?

Do you photograph couples boudoir in Hampton Roads?
Yes. Couples boudoir is my specialty. I teach it to photographers nationally, including at WPPI: The Boudoir Summit. Couples travel to Norfolk for it from across Virginia, and clients have flown in from as far as Abu Dhabi and Hawaii.
Is your studio LGBTQ+ and kink friendly?
Absolutely. The studio is LGBTQ+, ENM, and kink friendly, and every body 18 and over is welcome exactly as it is.
Do I need to bring my own lingerie?
No. The client closet holds 1,200+ pieces in sizes XS to 4X, and many clients bring nothing at all. Professional hair and makeup are included too.
How far in advance should I book?
The studio books 6 to 12 months out. For an anniversary, wedding, or holiday gift, book at least 2 to 3 months before your date.
